Myrtle Beach Coin Club Issues 50th Anniversary Coin
In 2011 the Myrtle Beach Coin Club called upon members to submit their ideas for a 50th Anniversary Club Coin. The design chosen was submitted by founding member number one and first club president, Mr. Alan Cooper. His design was based upon a seated liberty coin. The reverse commemorates the club's 50th Anniversary along with the founding date of 1962. The mint mark cleverly shows "MB" for Myrtle Beach. The coin composition is antiqued zinc-pewter. Every club member was presented a coin. The remainder are available for $4.00 plus nominal shipping. If interested, contact Club President, Rick Ciano at 856-796-0365.
